PizzaRev is a small fast casual chain of franchise pizza restaurants based in Los Angeles, California. The company also has non-franchise, corporate-owned stores. As of March 2015, the company has 26 stores. in five U.S. states. The company was founded in 2012 in Los Angeles by Rodney Eckerman and Irv Zuckerman, and their sons Nicholas Eckerman and Jeff Zuckerman.PizzaRev's menu offers five dining options: craft your own pizzas, salads, kids meals, our way pizzas, and desserts. Its menu offers gluten and vegan free options, with the vegan cheese and gluten free dough being an extra charge. You first pick either homemade dough or a gluten free crust and as you continue down the line and build your pizza you have 30+ options of sauces, cheeses, meats, and other fresh ingredients. In 2016 the company began selling a new double dough crust at many of its locations. However the menu prices and items will vary depending on the location of the store.
Restaurant operations have been compared and described as similar to that of Chipotle Mexican Grill. PizzaRev restaurants are open during lunch and dinner hours.
