Recipe of making bhaturi-indian cakes


  • Salt (regular or sea salt) - 1 tsp.
  • Sugar (ordinary white sugar, but you can use brown) - 1 tbsp.
  • Sour (can be replaced by yogurt or kefir) - 1 1/2 glass
  • Soda (food) - 1 tsp.
  • Flour (wheat white flour) - 400 g
  • Sunflower oil (for frying, but it is better to use corn)


Mix flour sugar and kefirMix the flour with sugar, soda and salt. Pour the sour and make a dough.
Add flour in doughIf the dough gets too soft, then add flour, and if too thick, add more sour.
doughWet your hands with oil and carefully knead the dough again.
Pieces of doughDivide the dough into small pieces and roll the balls by 5-6cm in diameter.

Sprinkle the table with flour and roll the balls into tortillas by 15cm in diameter.

If you have sesame, then sprinkle them in tortillas and roll in dough.

Put the cake in the hot oil and fry for 1-2 minutes on each side.
